The Reason Why Most Weight Loss Pills Don't Work

Everyday it seems like there is a brand new weight loss pill on the market with outrageous promises such as "Lose 10 Pounds in 10 Days". However, the truth is that over 85% of the diet pills on the market don't produce results like the companies claim, or they cause unwanted side effects.

But why don't most of these diet products work?

Low Quality Ingredients
Since the weight loss market is a multi-billion dollar industry, it has attracted dozens of new companies trying to get their piece of the pie. This has resulted in hundreds of new products being created each year with low quality ingredients. Since a lot of the new companies are using low quality ingredients, it allows them to sell their products at a cheaper price in order to compete with larger companies.

No Clinical Studies or Medical Testing
Most of the weight loss pills aren't subjected to the same health standards as prescription and over-the-counter diet pills. Since most of the diet pills don't have any clinical studies to prove that their product actually works, you can never be certain whether or not it really works.

Artificial Ingredients
A problem with many weight loss pills is that they use artificial or synthetic ingredients. These ingredients can be dangerous and cause unwanted side effects. If you want to lose weight safely, then it's best to stick with diet pills that are 100% natural.

How can you tell if a weight loss pill is worth using?

1. Try to see if they have any doctor endorsements or clinical studies that back up the product's claims. Without medical evidence that prove its effectiveness, the claims made by the companies have to be taken with a grain of salt.

2. Look for legitimate customer testimonials or reviews from users. However, many companies just make up fake testimonials with just a fake signature (I.E. - John Smith). If the company's web site provides user testimonials on their weight loss pill, make sure it contains either a video testimonial, or before-and-after photos.

3. Avoid using prescription weight loss pills. Some of these products may work to an extent, but they can also be dangerous as well. A lot of the prescription diet pills can have unwanted side effects including tolerance, addiction, diarrhea, nausea, stomach pains, and many more. If you really want to lose weight safely, then natural diet pills are the way to go.
